The Cattle Trail South
You asked us: "What's New?" - Well, This is!

This is a ride from our home base, the M&M Ranch in the foothills, heading south towards Pincher Creek. Parallel to the Rockies and the Porcupine Hills we will ride through different landscapes like forested area, grassy hillsides and the edge of the open Prairie. The scenery promises to be stunning.

Farmland in the Porcupine Hills
The idea is so new, that we can't publish a detailed itinerary. Neil will be talking with land owners over the winter and figuring all those details out. Because it will be through unfamiliar territory, it is only open to people who have done other long ride with us.

Given the lateness in the season, he is planning to spend at least a few of the nights in cabins, bunkhouses etc along the way rather than camping.

Like the High Plains Drifter, Neil's intention is not to take pack horses so we can make better time. But unlike the High Plains ride, the Rockies will form a stunning backdrop to our west throughout the journey south.

As a highlight at the end of the trip we are hoping to take part in a local Cattle Drive South of Pincher Creek.
